About Silver Wing Sailing Club - # Back to top
Though part of the Sports and Social Club of British Airways, the Club welcomes all sailors and over half our
members are drawn from outside the airline.
Based at Wraysbury on a 47 acre lake, one mile north-west of the M25/A30 Junction 13, the Club successfully combines
instruction and recreational sailing with a strong racing ethos. Boat parking, launching and clubhouse facilities are second to none.
A 'Site of Special Scientific Interest' and wildlife haven, free of hazards and other traffic, the whole water is visible from the
clubhouse and provides a most attractive and safe environment for sailing. Personalised instruction and fifteen club dinghies, free
to members in their first year, offer a minimum cost and structured entry for the inexperienced sailor.
